The avalanche danger is considerable above 2200 metres, below that it is initially low and increases to moderate as the day progresses.
With the onset of snowfall, new accumulations of drifting snow will form. Below 2400m, the snow cover will be weakened by the onset of rain. Medium-sized wet loose snow avalanches can spontaneously detach at some points in very steep terrain. Medium-sized wet slab avalanches are also possible with low additional loads.

Sliding snow avalanches can reach into the countryside
The avalanche danger is moderate above 2000 metres and low below. The main problem is sliding snow. Sliding snow avalanches can occur spontaneously at any time of day.
Snowpack
Surface frost has formed over large areas due to night-time radiation. The upper part of the snow cover often has an angular structure. The underlying snow foundation is well consolidated.
The entire snow cover can slide off on very steep rocky and grassy terrain.
